SNSD HyoYeon's penthouse in Songdo City is up for sale

Last March, SNSD's HyoYeon showcased her penthouse in New Songdo City on jTBC's 'Yurang Market'.

The penthouse is located on the 60th floor and is one of the 999 units in the 'Prugio' apartment complex. It is also said that she bought the property back in 2012 when the area was still being developed for about 1.25 billion Won ($1,032,904.50 USD).

Eight years later, a real estate agency revealed that HyoYeon has put the penthouse up for 3.7 billion Won ($3,053,284.40 USD) last month.

Some netizens are saying that HyoYeon only appeared on 'Yurang Market' (jTBC's show) to promote the penthouse and who would buy it at that price but here's the comment of one real estate agent. "There is the effect of the coronavirus, but it's likely to be sold at a high price because it was a star's house that appeared on TV. It's easy to drive to Yeouido, Ilsan, and Gangnam, and it's close to Incheon International Airport, making it a popular place for people who have to go overseas a lot."
