The death of his brother-in-law would be a heartbreaking news for Ba Woo's family.  Ba Woo would blame himself for it but Soo Kyeong would be there to console him.

As her sister-in-law, Soo Kyeong would also be there to comfort Bawoo's sister.

Meanwhile, Lady Court Kim offered to join hands with Ba Woo.  After consulting Soo Kyeong, Ba Woo accepted it with the condition that Lady Court Kim will help Soo Kyeong to meet her mother.

Soo Kyeong and her mother, the royal noble consort, finally met.  Going inside the Palace was easy but going out became hard when the King suddenly collapsed and the Palace was put into an emergency.  Thankfully, Da Yeob and Lady Court Kim were there to help them get out.

With the King's bad condition, the Crown Prince has temporarily ascended into power.  The Left Councilor immediately took advantage of this and he requested that Ba Woo will be assigned to patrol the borders.  Knowing that the Left State Councilor has other intentions, Soo Kyeong was strongly against this but Ba Woo had no choice but to obey the order.

Last but not the least, a woman suddenly appeared at Ba Woo's house while he is away.  She is claiming that she is the real mother of Cha Dol but is it true or was she sent there by the Left State Councilor to spy on them?
