Tiffany Young Confirmed to Lead "Yumi’s Cells" Musical

 

The "Yumi’s Cells" musical is officially making its debut on June 30 at the CJ Towol Theater of the Seoul Arts Center. Production companies Sam Company and Studio N revealed a striking official poster created by world-renowned artist Yoshida Yuni, which uses blue heart-shaped objects and pink lips to represent Yumi’s inner world. 

The production features a star-studded cast, with Girls' Generation’s Tiffany Young and Kim Ye Won taking on the title role of Yumi, while VIXX’s Leo and 2AM’s Jeong Jinwoon will play a mysterious new cell named “109.” They will be joined by Kim So Hyang and Yuria, who are set to play the pivotal "Love" cell.

In addition to the stage adaptation, fans of the television series have much to look forward to this month. Following the successful run of the first two seasons, the "Yumi's Cells" drama starring Kim Go Eun is returning for its third season. The new installment is scheduled to premiere on April 13 at 6 p.m. KST, promising to expand the imaginative world of the original webtoon even further for viewers.
